Purpose and task of this course:

Learning the consecutive cadaveric sectional anatomy specimens and intravital ultrasound, CT and MRI comparatively on the basis of systematic anatomy, regional anatomy and imaging knowledge. The purpose is to master the basis of changing regularity of the main structures of human body in consecutive sections and make a massy basis for modern imaging diagnosis , treatment and surgery of diseases.

Basic Requirements and briefs of course teaching:

 

Introduction

1.  Master the definition, characteristic, researching scopeapplication of sectional anatomy.

2.  Know the history, future of sectional anatomy.

3.  Know the imaging principle,skill advancement of diagnosis and treatment of ultrasound, CT and MR images.

 

Chapter 1  Head

1.  Master the transverse section of the head, and its CT, MR images.

2.  Know the sagittal and coronal section of the head and its CT, MR images.

3.  Know the origin, branches, distribution and sectional anatomy appearance of cerebral vessels.

4.  Know the transverse section of arcula, nose, sinus paranasalis, temporal bone and their CT images.

Chapter 2  Neck

1.  Know the transverse section of neck (larynx, thyroid) and CT image.

2.  Know the fascia and interfascial space of maxillofacial region and neck.

 

Chapter 3  Thorax

1.  Master the transverse section of mediastinum and its CT image.

2.  Know the distribution of the lung tube inside and the division of the lung segment.

3.  Master the transverse section of the 1st and 2nd hilums of lung and its CT image.

4.  Know the division of the lung segment in the transverse section and its CT image.

5.  Know the ATS map of the regional nodes of lung.

 

Chapter 4  Abdomen

1.  Master the division of the liver segment and distribution of the intrahepatic tube.

2.  Master the division of the liver segment in transverse section and its CTMR images.

3.  Master the typing of pancreas in coronal section, the recognition of its parts and their CT, MR images.

4.  Master the transverse section of the extrahepatic biliary apparatus.

5.  Master the transverse section of the spleen and its changing appearance.

6.  Know the transverse section of the peritoneum and peritoneal cavity.

7.  Know the zonation, main structures and communication of spatium retroperitoneale.

 

Chapter 5  Male Pelvis and Perineum

1.  Master the transverse section of the male pelvis and its CT, MR images.

2.  Know the B ultrasound of prostate.

3.  Know the endopelvic fascia and interfascial space.

 

Chapter 6  Female Pelvis and Perineum

1.  Master the transverse section of the female pelvis and its CT, MR images.

2.  Know the B ultrasound of uterus.

3.  Know the endopelvic fascia and interfascial space.

 

Chapter 7  Vertebral Region

1.  Master the sectional anatomy of intervertebral disc and its CT, MR images.

2.  Master the transverse section of structures in vertebral canal and their CT, MR image.

3.  Master the boundary, communication, and the normal anteroposterior diameter of lateral recess.

 

Chapter 8  Upper Limb

1.  Master the transverse sectional anatomy of shoulder and elbow joint, wirst and palma and their CT, MR images.

2.  Know the transverse sectional anatomy through the superior, intermediate and inferior part of upper arm and their CT, MR images.

3.  Know the transverse sectional anatomy through the superior, intermediate and inferior part of antibrachium and their CT, MR images.

4.  Know the transverse sectional anatomy of the fingers.

 

Chapter 9  Lower Limb

1.  Master the transverse sectional anatomy of coxa and knee and their CT, MR images.

2.  Master the coronal and sagittal sectional anatomy of knee joint and its CT, MR images.

3.  Know the transverse sectional anatomy through the superior, intermediate and inferior part of thigh and its CT, MR images.

4.  Know the transverse sectional anatomy of the foot.
